Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop is getting into the TV business. The Oscar-winning entrepreneur is developing a new series with former NBCUniversal executive Ben Silverman and his Propagate Content, an individual familiar with the project told TheWrap…The deal would be the first mainstream entertainment pact for Goop, which makes original digital content in the form of cooking videos and beauty and fashion product reviews and tutorials.

Ben Siverman’s Propagate has nabbed two more buzzy podcasts, “Sword and Scale” and “Up and Vanished,” that it will set up as TV projects. They follow in the footsteps of “Lore,” which Silverman and Propagate co-CEO Howard T. Owens launched as a series at Amazon and which received strong reviews. Silverman told Variety about the next two podcast-to-TV projects.

Country music star Zac Brown of Zac Brown Band fame is teaming with Ben Silverman and Howard T. Owens’ Propagate on a deal with Brown’s Southern Reel production company. The plan is to develop and produce projects for TV, film and digital that speaks to Brown’s vision of life in the South. Among the projects in the early stages of development moving forward is a reality series focused on Southern Ground, Brown’s lifestyle brand headquarters.
